As I held the amber colored stick (with a small ball on one end and a rounded nub on the other) and stared at it expecting it to give me a clue – it did not.
Fortunately it wasn’t a complete mystery. It turned out to be a resin foot massage stick. Once you knew what it was, it made sense. And even more importantly, it proved to be ridiculously helpful!

When I am tired from standing all day, the first thing I do is sit down. I relax my foot and begin to roll it back and forth on my arch. As I encounter a knot in the arch area, I switch to the rounded end of the stick and apply short, controlled pressure to the area. I try to apply consistent pressure that is firm but not sharp.
