Directions
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and trim any excess fat if desired.
In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce and brown sugar until well combined.
Spread a small amount of the sauce mixture on the bottom of a slow cooker.
Arrange the ribs inside the slow cooker and pour the remaining sauce mixture over the top, making sure the ribs are evenly coated.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
Carefully transfer the ribs to a baking sheet lined with foil.
Brush them with some of the cooking sauce.
Place under the broiler for 3–5 minutes, or until the sauce becomes caramelized and slightly charred.
Serve hot and enjoy.
Serving Suggestions
These ribs pair wonderfully with mashed potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread, or roasted vegetables. The sweet and smoky sauce also makes them perfect for sandwiches topped with crunchy slaw.
