Step 7 — Rinse thoroughly
Once the dirt has been removed, rinse the sneakers well with clean water. Make sure you remove all traces of the washing powder.
Step 8 — Rinse the laces
Rinse the shoelaces separately under clean water until the water runs clear and no detergent remains.
Step 9 — Remove excess water
Gently squeeze or press excess water from the laces. For the sneakers, avoid twisting them, as this can affect their shape.
