Personality
Curious, lively and intelligent, the Chihuahua tends to establish a close connection with one or two people to whom it shows itself deeply and constantly loving. On the other hand, it does not make a warm welcome to strangers: in their presence, it becomes nervous, noisy and even emits piercing screams. Chihuahua must therefore be socialized as soon as possible, otherwise it will become anxious in any new environment and will not get along with children and other pets. It is a clan race that loves to live in packs with other Chihuahuas with whom it often weaves very strong bonds.
Despite his small size, he has a well-established temperament, sometimes even stubborn, which requires a gentle but coherent education. Very attentive to his environment, he is also protective and can develop guard behaviors, especially in the face of unknown noises or presences. This makes him an excellent alert dog… but also sometimes a vigilant barker. If it is well socialized and educated with consistency, the Chihuahua proves to be a balanced companion, expressive, funny and deeply loyal, always in search of closeness with its emotional landmarks.

The Chihuahua is a tiny dog, but with a well-established physique. Here are his main features :
