Authorities confirmed that her son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, voluntarily participated in an extended interview with law enforcement. Nancy was last seen after dinner with her daughter, Annie Guthrie, and Cioni, who reportedly drove her home around 9:45 p.m. and watched her enter safely. The following morning, concern grew when she missed church and failed to answer calls. Deputies responding to the residence discovered evidence suggesting a possible struggle near the entrance.
