“Call me old-fashioned, but I think it should be a bigger story that we haven’t seen the President of the United States on live TV in nearly a week,” one user wrote online.
Others claimed they had noticed what appeared to be a recurring pattern.
“I didn’t notice a possible pattern until someone pointed it out. It’s the first of the month. He seems to disappear around this time,” another commenter suggested.
A third added: “It does seem odd that a president who lives on camera just doesn’t do any public appearances about once a month for almost a week.”

Some commentators have pointed to previous periods where the president maintained a notably lighter public schedule, particularly around the beginning of certain months.
